MJHS Adult Day Health Care centers help patients with chronic conditions have daily access to expert therapists, rehabilitative services and nursing care so they can retain their independence and remain at home. Patients improve their ability to perform essential activities such as dressing, eating, walking and bathing.
Our Adult Day Health Care centers also give patients the opportunity to meet and establish supportive relationships with others who are experiencing similar life situations, medical conditions and psycho-social needs. The bonds they form and the experiences they share can help lessen feelings of isolation, create positive peer-group reinforcement, enhance therapy effectiveness, and speed recuperation.
