El sistema de salud MJHS anunci\u00f3 hoy que, a partir de ahora, David Wagner asume el cargo recientemente creado de director de operaciones (COO) de la organizaci\u00f3n sin fines de lucro. Con este fin, estar\u00e1 a cargo de las \u00e1reas de proveedores y pagadores de nuestro sistema. Wagner mantendr\u00e1 el cargo de presidente de los planes de salud de MJHS, puesto que ocupa desde febrero de 2019. Los planes de salud son un miembro de la familia de MJHS e incluyen Elderplan, para los beneficiarios de Medicare y con doble elegibilidad, y su plan de atenci\u00f3n administrada a largo plazo, HomeFirst. Por fuera, David ha logrado construir relaciones con grupos de trabajo estatales, agencias gubernamentales y organizaciones reguladoras nacionales\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Terese Acampora, COO de Atenci\u00f3n de hospicio y Atenci\u00f3n en el hogar de MJHS, y Loyola Princivil-Barnett, COO de los centros de rehabilitaci\u00f3n y atenci\u00f3n de enfermer\u00eda de MJHS, se comunicar\u00e1n directamente con Wagner junto con los directivos s\u00e9nior de Elderplan\/HomeFirst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wagner se uni\u00f3 al sistema de salud de MJHS como director de Presupuesto y Reembolso en 1999. Durante los siguientes 15&nbsp;a\u00f1os, trabaj\u00f3 exclusivamente en el \u00e1rea de proveedores de MJHS. En 2014, se traslad\u00f3 a Elderplan como director financiero. Un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s tarde, ascendi\u00f3 y se incorpor\u00f3 como COO de Elderplan para cumplir con su cargo y sus responsabilidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antes de formar parte del sistema de salud de MJHS, fue asesor de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica. Tambi\u00e9n fue supervisor y auditor en Loeb &amp; Troper, una firma de servicios profesionales especializados que ofrece auditor\u00eda integral y servicios fiscales y de consultor\u00eda para las industrias de la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, sin fines de lucro y con necesidades especiales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wagner asisti\u00f3 a la Universidad Yeshiva y a la Facultad de Negocios Sy Syms. Su licenciatura en Ciencias es en Contabilidad. Contador p\u00fablico certificado desde 1998, Wagner es miembro del Instituto Americano de Contadores P\u00fablicos Certificados desde 1999. Tambi\u00e9n es miembro del Gabinete de MLTC\/PACE de Leading Age New York y de la Coalici\u00f3n de MLTC\/PACE de Manatt para el subcomit\u00e9 de tasas y finanzas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>Acerca del sistema de salud de MJHS<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las ra\u00edces del sistema de salud de MJHS se remontan al a\u00f1o 1907, cuando cuatro valientes mujeres de Brooklyn vieron a personas con necesidades urgentes de atenci\u00f3n, afecto y amabilidad. La organizaci\u00f3n que fundaron se expandi\u00f3 de un peque\u00f1o edificio dentro de un bloque de viviendas a uno de los sistemas de salud sin fines de lucro m\u00e1s grandes de la regi\u00f3n, que brinda atenci\u00f3n en el hogar, atenci\u00f3n de hospicio y cuidados paliativos para adultos y ni\u00f1os, los Isabella y Menorah Centers for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care, y el centro de investigaci\u00f3n MJHS Institute for Innovation in Palliative Care.
