Como testimonio de su incidencia en los planes de salud, fue ascendida a vicepresidenta adjunta de Reclamaciones y Servicios T\u00e9cnicos en 2005, pas\u00f3 al sector de Implementaci\u00f3n de Productos en 2012 y, al a\u00f1o siguiente, al de Organizaci\u00f3n de Servicios de Administraci\u00f3n. Esta amplia experiencia le proporcion\u00f3 una preparaci\u00f3n s\u00f3lida para su ascenso a vicepresidenta de Operaciones del plan de salud en 2014. Dos a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde, fue ascendida a vicepresidenta de Servicios de Administraci\u00f3n y Asuntos M\u00e9dicos, cargo que ocupa en la actualidad. Entre sus numerosos logros se incluye la obtenci\u00f3n de mejoras en las \u00e1reas operativas a trav\u00e9s de las inversiones tecnol\u00f3gicas, la implementaci\u00f3n exitosa de sistemas, y la automatizaci\u00f3n y la ingenier\u00eda de flujos de trabajo\/procesos. Se ha distinguido por su capacidad para coordinar al personal, derribar los obst\u00e1culos, crear equipos y controlar los costos. Laurissa tambi\u00e9n ha participado de manera directa en nuestras iniciativas en desarrollo de administraci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica interinstitucional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antes de unirse a Elderplan, Laurissa trabaj\u00f3 como asesora en Braden Consulting &amp; Associates y ocup\u00f3 varios cargos en organizaciones de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica en Rhode Island. Durante los \u00faltimos dieciocho a\u00f1os, ha contribuido al avance de Elderplan de manera evidente. Respald\u00f3 la transici\u00f3n de Elderplan, que era una organizaci\u00f3n social para el mantenimiento de la salud (HMO), a los planes Medicare&nbsp;Advantage y de necesidades especiales. Se uni\u00f3 a Elderplan en 2011 como directora de atenci\u00f3n administrada a largo plazo (MLTC) y de los planes de MAP y ha ocupado cargos cada vez m\u00e1s altos de supervisi\u00f3n en Administraci\u00f3n de productos, Calidad, Operaciones de servicios y Gesti\u00f3n de proyectos. Durante los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, Felicia se ha dedicado a comprender y satisfacer las necesidades y expectativas de nuestros miembros. Estos esfuerzos significativos han permitido mejorar los beneficios del plan y los programas que contribuyen a incrementar el acceso de los miembros a la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, como la disminuci\u00f3n de los costos compartidos de los medicamentos, la atenci\u00f3n a los diab\u00e9ticos y un mayor \u00e9nfasis en la necesidad de completar los ex\u00e1menes de detecci\u00f3n preventivos. Felicia tambi\u00e9n ha trabajado para tratar factores sociales decisivos para la salud, especialmente durante la pandemia, incluida la incorporaci\u00f3n de alimentos como beneficio y un mayor acceso de los miembros a la telesalud, incluido el apoyo psicol\u00f3gico y emocional fundamental. Promovi\u00f3 la decisi\u00f3n empresarial de invertir en tecnolog\u00eda para la administraci\u00f3n de las relaciones con los clientes (CMR) (Salesforce), y ha respaldado su implementaci\u00f3n.
