El Sello de Oro es un s\u00edmbolo de calidad que refleja el compromiso de una organizaci\u00f3n de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica de brindar atenci\u00f3n segura y de calidad al paciente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMe complace que Atenci\u00f3n de hospicio y cuidados paliativos de MJHS haya recibido la acreditaci\u00f3n plena de la Comisi\u00f3n Conjunta\u201d, dijo Terese Acampora, directora de Operaciones de Atenci\u00f3n de hospicio y Atenci\u00f3n en el hogar de MJHS.&nbsp;\u201cEste es un logro importante para nuestro programa sin fines de lucro y demuestra que somos una organizaci\u00f3n impulsada por la calidad que se enfoca en la mejora continua en la atenci\u00f3n al paciente.&nbsp;El proceso de acreditaci\u00f3n es arduo y no podr\u00eda estar m\u00e1s orgullosa de todo el equipo de Atenci\u00f3n de hospicio de MJHS por su compromiso con la calidad, as\u00ed como de los pacientes, las familias y los socios de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica que nos conf\u00edan la atenci\u00f3n\u201d, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El sistema de salud de MJHS tiene uno de los mayores programas de cuidados paliativos y atenci\u00f3n de hospicio sin fines de lucro del \u00e1rea metropolitana de New York. La acreditaci\u00f3n, otorgada por un per\u00edodo de tres a\u00f1os, involucr\u00f3 una evaluaci\u00f3n exhaustiva en el lugar que incluy\u00f3 documentaci\u00f3n de atenci\u00f3n al paciente, control de infecciones, procedimientos y pol\u00edticas, as\u00ed como visitas a los pacientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los est\u00e1ndares de la Comisi\u00f3n Conjunta se desarrollan en consulta con expertos y proveedores de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, expertos en medici\u00f3n y pacientes. Est\u00e1n basados en documentaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica y en el consenso de expertos para ayudar a las organizaciones de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica a medir, evaluar y mejorar el
