Spiritual Support
If the patient chooses, we provide spiritual support which offers comfort, guidance, and companionship to the patient and their loved ones when approaching the end of life.

Spiritual Support for All Faiths and Beliefs
At MJHS, we respect that every patient has different values and religious beliefs. We also know from experience that some people find comfort in faith-based support when facing a serious or life-limiting illness. That’s why we offer pastoral care for any patient or family members who wish to receive this level of support.
Our spiritual care team includes clergy of various faiths and religions, including priests, rabbis, ministers, imams, pastors, and chaplains of other denominations. While we can usually provide you with a spiritual advisor of your faith, all members of the pastoral team can support our patients.
Your dedicated chaplain will make home visits and offer telephone support. Should the need arise, they are also available off-hours to provide counseling and prayer.
