Overview

If short-term in-patient rehabilitation or long-term nursing care is required, MJHS has two extraordinary facilities to address these needs.  Both distinguish themselves by providing state-of-the-art services and a highly-talented staff that, above all else, is committed to treating our patients and residents with compassionate, respectful, exceptional care.

Our two Brooklyn facilities include:

  • Menorah Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care, located on the ocean in Manhattan Beach
  • Shorefront Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care, located seaside on the historic Coney Island Boardwalk.


Unlike most facilities, our certified physicians are on staff and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Together with our nurses, therapists, dietitians and social workers, they give our rehab patients and long-term residents compassionate, high-quality care.  And they don’t just help our patients overcome their physical challenges. They also offer education and counseling to help our patients and residents adjust to whatever changes or limitations they might need to face.  And our multilingual staff is fluent in many languages, including Russian, Yiddish, Spanish, Polish, Hebrew and many others.

Whatever the length of stay, or the specific rehabilitation or nursing need, MJHS’s skilled care teams practice their healing arts with uncommon commitment, cultural sensitivity and compassion.  All of this allows our patients and residents to continue enjoying their lives to the fullest.
