MJHS Hospice and Palliative Care

Patient Lays in Bed and Stares Out of the Window

MJHS Hospice and Palliative Care serves the needs of patients and families across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Nassau County. As one of the largest and most respected not-for-profit hospice and palliative care programs in the region, we are committed to offering patients and families with chronic or advanced illness compassionate, expert care, along with peace of mind and comfort

Depending on the level of care needed, we can provide care in a variety of settings, at home, in a hospital, assisted living community or any nursing homes across New York City and Long Island. You can also choose to receive hospice care at one of our dedicated hospice residences.

Both hospice and palliative care provide comfort to patients suffering from chronic or advanced illness. One of the main differences is that palliative care can begin at the time a diagnosis is made and the patient is still pursuing curative treatment. Hospice care begins only after treatment for the disease has stopped.

Whether you are with us to receive hospice or palliative care, you and your family can expect an extraordinary level of attention and support.
