MJHS Summer Internship Program Kicks Off
MJHS is thrilled to once again offer summer internships, with 26 participants joining our organization for an impactful 6-week learning experience. The program, which welcomed its inaugural cohort in 2021, is part of the suite of offerings by MJHS Academy for Professional & Health Care Advancement. The MJHS Summer Internship Program trains the next generation of professionals and cultivates talent, while also bringing fresh perspectives to our different departments and participating agencies.
“We’re delighted to once again offer our summer internship program,” said Nadine Ferguson, chief human resources officer at MJHS Health System. “Over 6-weeks, interns will gain hands-on experience, develop new skills and connect with leaders at all levels across our organization. We also look forward to the unique point-of-view they will bring to our different teams through their contributions.”
This year was our most competitive application process to date, with hundreds of applications received from our community partners at Commonpoint, PENCIL, Lehman College and the Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center at Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
