Personalized Rehabilitation to Help Restore Strength and Independence

Recovering from a hip or knee replacement, stroke, heart attack, injury, or any condition affecting your mobility at home or on a short-term basis doesn’t have to be a challenge. With the right physical and emotional support, you can regain your maximum possible strength and mobility.

Our licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists, along with one of the registered nurses, will work with you and your treating physician to create a personalized plan of care designed to help you achieve your individual recovery goals. A member of our social work team will also be there to support you along the way. By prioritizing a safe and efficient recovery, we can help reduce your risk of rehospitalization.

Our Short-Term Rehabilitation Program Can Help You With:

  • Improving body movements and mobility
  • Teaching you how to use assistive devices like canes, walkers or wheelchairs, if needed
  • Relearning essential daily activities like dressing, cooking, and self-care
  • Addressing communication challenges and swallowing difficulties

We provide short-term rehab at home through MJHS Home Care or inpatient rehab at MJHS Menorah Center in Brooklyn and MJHS Isabella Center in the Washington Heights section of upper Manhattan.
