These programs are ideal for high school students fulfilling community service requirements.They are also a great opportunity to introduce high school students to the field of health care, as a possible career path.

Summer Youth Employment Program

  • This program provides summer job opportunities for youth aged 14–21. Students from northern Manhattan are encouraged to apply.

Summer Mentoring Programs

  1. Children of Non-Union Employees: During the summer, high school students aged 14–18 receive paid work experience at MJHS Isabella Center. Contact our Volunteer Department at 212-342-9351
  2. Children of Union Employees: Available to students whose parents are members of the 1199 SEIU union. Contact 1199 SEIU Youth Mentoring Program at 646-473-6921.
