For Older Adults

Independent Living at Isabella House

Located on the grounds of MJHS Isabella Center, Isabella House is a vibrant, high-rise apartment community designed for adults age 62+. With moderately priced studio and one-bedroom apartments, residents enjoy stunning New York City skyline views and a supportive environment that promotes independent living.

Comprehensive Support for Older Adults

MJHS Isabella Center provides health care, social services, and recreational activities to support older adults living in three Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORCs) in Upper Manhattan, helping them remain safely in their homes. Through city and state funding, we proudly offer these services free of charge to residents of the Fort George VISTAS, El Corazon, and River Terrace NORCs. .

Helping You or Your Loved One Maintain Independence

Through the Upper Manhattan Partnership for Senior Independence (UMPSI), we provide essential support to help older adults live healthier and more fulfilling lives at home. UMPSI is funded in part by the NYC Derpartment for the Aging.

Mentorship For Young Adults

MJHS Isabella also provides mentorship and employment programs for young adults looking to gain valuable work experience and life skills. Through our summer employment programs (ages 14–21) and dedicated mentoring programs, participants receive guidance and professional support to help them grow personally and professionally.
